March Community Spotlight – Jehovah Jireh Food Pantry

Jehovah Jireh began over 25 years ago in the home of Jim and Sharon Herrema. At the start, the mission was to help large families with single incomes meet their needs. Over the years, the word spread and the needs of the community changed. Today, Jehovah Jireh serves over 225 families in the community by providing them fresh produce, meat and dairy through a weekly shopping experience and through a clothing ministry.”

Jehovah Jireh has made it their mission to relieve the financial burden of a fundamental need: food. They strive to have healthy options for families in SE Ottawa County. If you are currently in need of food, visit them at 4055 Van Buren St., Hudsonville on a distribution day. Distribution days happen every Wednesday from 11:30 – 5:30 and Saturday from 8 – 1. Visit their website to learn more.
